Things to cover BEFORE going on a trip with a friend!

Friends, together, hitting the road! Bonding through shared experiences. Sounds
wicked-awesome, doesn't it? Aren't you already excited??

Now... Time for a reality check. Travelling with friends could be a fabulous experience,
but go with the wrong person, or choose the wrong place, and
you risk not only a trip from hell but the breakup of a friendship.

Cover these topics
1. Hitting the road in the morning. Make sure you set ground rules for when you get
up! I toured across Canada with a guy who wakes at 6am and wants to hit the road by
6:30am! Ummmm.... no!

2. Discuss food preferences in advance and decide if you want to eat together or
split up at mealtimes.

3. When your cup runneth over! Traveling and wobbly pops generally go hand in hand.
Make sure you know how your friend acts before sharing a bottle!

4. Are your personalities similar? Are you both lazy or both energetic?

5. Culture or cash register? Some people travel to shop till they drop, while others
like to take in the culture in their destination city.

6. Go with the flow or plan everything? Some people like to have an agenda, while
others like to just tour and find something cool.

7. Rooms at the inn. Do you want something cheap or extravagant?

8. Splitting up for different events. Some people can't be alone, while others like
to check things out by themselves.
