River Breeze Corn Maze

My roomie and I left Moncton at 7pm to head to Truro to go the Riverbreeze Corn Mazes 'Haunted Maze'. We arrived around 8:45pm to over 1,000 people in line-ups! We had no idea it was going to be that crazy, but we drove all that way and were determined to have the crap scared outta us!

So after 30 minutes in a line-up to get our tickets, we went to another line-up to get into the Haunted Maze. Along the way there is a concession stand, mechanical bull-riding ($3 to ride!) and a spinning vortex... so at least there is some stuff to do while waiting in the cold.

After an hour and 10 minutes, we reached the entrance to the corn maze. By this time we had befriended some guys behind us and made them go first lol! So you start off walking in the corn maze, where costumed actors are standing in your way, trying to scare you, or stop you from walking. Then the actors get sneaky and hide in the corn field. Along the trail you'll find little shacks, like one is completely dark, and you hold a rope to get through it, and this was where my first scream happened as someone grabbed my foot! There's also a bus you walk through with mannequins and people sitting in the seats. Needless to say, I screamed and giggled ALOT! I think my roomie even started to cry when a guy came at her with a chain saw, where she grabbed me and threw me in front of her... thanks Annie! LMAO. Survival techniques, brought to you by Annie. Lol. Some of the actors were funny and doing the Thriller dance, some were there to scare.

So all in all, the wait was long, but totally worth it! It's about a half an hour of pure awesomeness! There's also a Haunted Farm House, which we didn't make it through... for more details, check em out here! http://www.riverbreeze.info/
